    Rajeev Khandelwal to essay detective in 'Samrat And Co.'

    The budding star Rajeev Khandelwal will don the hat of detective in his next 'Samrat & Co' produced by Kavita Barjatya.

    The television star turned Bollywood actor Rajeev Khandelwal featured in offbeat Bollywood films like ' Aamir ' and ' Table No. 21 '. Going by the latest reports, Rajeev Khandelwal is ready to don the hat of a detective in his next titled ' Samrat & Co. '.

    Under the banner of Rajshri Productions , Kavita Barjatya will be producing this thriller. ' Samrat & Co. ' will be the very first detective movie by Rajshri and it will be a suspense-thriller. It seems the detective genre is going to see golden days on the horizon of Bollywood.

    The other upcoming movies belonging to this genre include ' Mr. Joe B. Carvalho ' featuring Arshad Warsi essaying the character that has resemblance with Steve Martin. The other one is ' Jagga Jasoos ' by Anurag Basu that features Ranbir Kapoor as detective. Dibakar Banerjee 's ' Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! ' will see detectivegiri done by Sushant Singh Rajput . The bold and beautiful Vidya Balan will play detective in upcoming 'Bobby Jasoos' and Anushka Sharma will be rendering similar character in her next 'NH10'.
