Raees gets 'UA' certificate from the CBFC with 6 verbal cuts

Shah Rukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mahira Khan starrer Raees is geared up to hit the screens on January 25. The film was sent to the censors and reportedly, Raees has received ‘UA’ certificate from the Censor Board of Film Certification.
The movie has got 6 verbal cuts and none of the excellent action scenes were cut, as they were needed to keep intact the film’s authenticity, believed the Censor Board, as per the report. Produced by Excel Entertainment and Red Chillies Entertainment, helmed by Rahul Dholakia, the film Raees is said to be about a gangster turned politician in Gujarat.
Raees clashes with Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil that releases on the same day.
