Before starting to work on his multi-starter third instalment film in the Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, director Tigmanshu Dhulia will be releasing his upcoming Bollywood film, which is a periodic war drama film based on the National Army set up and the Red Fort trials in 1945 for India’s freedom. The movie was earlier titled “Birth of a Nation”, but then later on changed to Raag Desh. The film is completely shot by using Anamorphic lenses on a dual camera, which is kind of the first experiment in the Bollywood.
First look poster of Raag DeshTigmanshu Dhulia is known for his gritty style of story narration and keen attention to the detail, which is needed for period a drama story. Previously, he also directed Paan Singh Tomar starring Irrfan Khan in the lead role which was a super-hit with the masses and critics and also won many awards and accolades. Judging by the first look it seems equally promising to be an intriguing story line.
Tigmanshu Dhulia, Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh and Mohit MarwahRaag Desh, considering a history period war drama, needed to pack compelling casting and it includes Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, and Mohit Marwah playing the lead roles while Vijay Verma, Mrudula Murali, and many others play the supporting roles in the film.
