Priyanka Chopra has gone out of her way to live the life of Olympic award winner Mary Kom in her upcoming film 'Mary Kom'. Right from learning the local Manipuri dialect to working out to attain the boxer's physique, she has succeeded in it all.
Now everyone is praising her for the first look of 'Mary Kom', but what she went through to deliver this toughest performance of her career is only known by some of the people close to her. As per the sources, director Omung Kumar disclosed that Priyanka used to work out daily for three hours to build up and then maintain the boxer's physique. Sometimes it was nearly not possible to work out owing to the film's tight schedule. Still, she was so dedicated that she never missed her work out, even if it involved her staying up till 2 am to complete the entire regime for around 35 days!
During the shoots, Priyanka underwent the emotional trauma after the death of her father. But this didn't stop her; she resumed the work within a week.
