Saturday afternoon witnessed multiple film and television industry award season's principal players gathering for a sport of tea and for some business talk. The Los Angeles branch of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) sponsored a semi-annual event. This was held usually before a day of each Emmy and Golden Globe ceremony.

The weekend, the tea attendees names included the actors like Leonardo DiCaprio ('The Revenant') and Mark Ruffalo ('Spotlight'). It included the actresses Cate Blanchett ('Carol') and Alicia Vikander ('The Danish Girl'). Along with Hollywood A-listers, our B-Town diva Priyanka Chopra walked the red carpet and made a fashion statement on the carpet as she appeared in a stunning black dress designed by Australian designer Alex Perry. Her hairdo was a bow updo, which was different from her usual hair styles. A metallic silver Choo clutch and Nicholas Kirkwood enhanced the beauty of the actress's look.
