Priyanka Chopra's 'Madamji' is kept on hold

Actress Priyanka Chopra has witnessed a fabulous 2015 with two of her Bollywood movies - 'Dil Dhadakne Do' and 'Bajirao Mastani' becoming box-office success and bringing in a lot of appreciation her way, along with her successful debut at the international front with 'Quantico'. The lady had a busy year and hence, her own production venture 'Madamji' has been delayed. The latest update is that the film 'Madamji' is further kept on hold, due to her tight working schedule.

In a recent media interaction, Priyanka stated that, "Madamji is on hold and this film is very close to my heart. For this film, I have to give 70 days for shoot but since my show ('Quantico') got extended, I couldn't do it. Hopefully, someday I will make it. But right now I am not doing it." When asked about facing competition, the actress further added that "I don't have time to see others' career. I'm setting my own milestone. I am thankful to filmmakers who write characters for me." Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, 'Madamji' revolves around the journey of an item girl turning into a politician.
