    Priyanka Chopra in consideration to play Aamir Khan's wife in Rakesh Sharma biopic?

    According to reports, Priyanka Chopra is being considered for the role of Aamir Khan's wife in the biopic on astronaut Rakesh Sharma.

    Soon after wrapping up Yash Raj Films ' Thugs Of Hindostan with Amitabh Bachchan , Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh , superstar Aamir Khan will move on to start his preparations for the much-talked about biopic on astronaut Rakesh Sharma. Rakesh Sharma was the first Indian to travel in space in 1984. And if the latest reports are anything to go by, Priyanka Chopra , who is gearing up to shoot the third instalment of her popular American TV show Quantico, will play Aamir Khan 's wife in the film.

    Though no official confirmation has been made in this regards, industry insiders say PC is a strong contender for the role. If the news of her coming onboard for the biopic is true, it means her fans will have to wait even longer to see their favorite actress in any Hindi film, because Rakesh Sharma biopic will not go to floors till mid-2018 until Aamir Khan is satisfied with everything related to the project. PC was last seen in Jai Gangaajal which released in 2016.

    To be directed by Mahesh Mathai , the biopic will be co-produced by Aamir Khan along with Siddharth Roy Kapur .
