Prithviraj is all set to venture into comedy genre

The superstar of south Prithviraj is currently on the seventh heaven after receiving the accolades for his realistic performance in the recently released action crime drama \'Aurangzeb\'. Now after doing lots of dhishum dhishum in his previous film, Prithviraj is all set to venture into the comedy genre with his upcoming film \'Happy New Year\'. Prithvi expressed that he is very excited about this project.

Prithvi said that currently, he is in a happy state as his performance in \'Aurangzeb\' was appreciated by everybody. He is glad that people didn\'t come out of the theatres saying that they saw a South Indian actor. Prithvi expressed that he is happy to get accolades from audiences and critics. He thinks that this was a huge accomplishment for him.

Prithviraj whose first Bollywood film was \'Aiyyaa\' was expressing his thoughts about his career and upcoming projects in a candid chit chat with the source. He will be next seen in a comedy film for the first time in Bollywood. He said that he is looking forward to work on this project.

\'Happy New Year\' is directed by choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan. Along with Prithvi, Shah Rukh Khan will be also seen in this movie. Prithviraj revealed that the film will be a situational comedy which will go on floors by this September.
