The hype for Race 3 is really catching up with every update, the film is still in the pre-production phase, this must be Salman effect! Apparently, makers of Race franchise decided to give a 180-degree turn to it hence helmed new director, Remo D’Souza , to direct the film. And when Jacqueline Fernandez was confirmed as the leading lady for the film, it was time to search for the second leading man and the hunt ends with Siddharth Malhotra . This would be first film, where Siddharth and Salman will be sharing the screen together, and thanks for Salman Khan for this!

Apparently, as the source says, Siddharth has been approached for the part. Salman is very fond of Siddharth and suggested his name for the film. And since Siddharth’ dates are availed post completion of Aiyaary , he is likely to join the Race 3 team! Though it wouldn’t be the first time we would see Siddharth in a role with a negative shade as he also played such character in Brothers against Akshay Kumar and received appreciation for his role, And the coincident is Jacqueline was cast against him, so would that be followed in Race 3 ? Only time or first teaser of trailer would tell!

Industry speculated that makers of Race franchise have decided up the ante and produce the film on a larger scale, action sequences filled with many plot-twists! As first shooting schedule will start in October and Siddharth will also be done with his film Aiyaary by the September end!
