Aamir Khan and his team are gearing up for the release of their upcoming film Secret Superstar . The film stars Zaira Wasim in the lead while Aamir has a supporting role. It narrates the tale of a young girl named Insia who dreams to become a famous singer but due to family and societal pressure, is suppressed. However, her determination makes her rise to fame! Aamir Khan plays Insia’s music mentor in the movie. The film has a very interesting and unique plot.

The latest update regarding the film is that Aamir Khan is set to release Secret Superstar in Turkey, he is in Istanbul to make the announcement. Yesterday, Aamir updated on Twitter about his journey, he wrote: "On the plane to Istanbul! Really looking forward to my trip to Turkey. Love. A." The Turkey posters are also out. Vibha Chopra, Head - Zee Studios International (Film Marketing, Distribution, and Acquisition) said in a media statement: "With a strong and universally appealing storyline and the presence of one of our biggest superstars, we are confident that the film will receive as much love in Turkey and other international markets, as it does in India."

As per the report, the film will also be releasing in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, UAE/GCC and Pakistan, apart from India and Turkey. It is distributed internationally by Zee Studios International.

Written and Directed by Advait Chandan , the film stars Zaira Wasim , Meher Vij, Raj Arjun, Tirth Sharma, Kabir Sheikh, Farrukh Jaffer and Aamir Khan . Secret Superstar has been scheduled to release this Diwali i.e. on 19th October 2017.
