Parmanu: John Abraham takes a feisty walk on the first look poster!

It is a known fact that John Abraham has joined hands with KriArj Entertainment for the upcoming film Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran. The film that also stars actress Diana Penty in the lead is a story about one of the greatest Nuclear espionage that took place in 1998. The makers have put together a film which will make the country proud as this revolves around a successful mission India undertook where every contributor was united for one common goal. John Abraham dropped the first look poster on Twitter and wrote: “Embark on an extraordinary journey this December with @ParmanuTheMovie #ParmanuTheStoryOfPokhran @johnabrahament @kriarj.”

In the poster, one can see the army camp and war backdrop whereas John is walking with confidence and stating the arrival of the film with a bang. The film is directed by Abhishek Sharma, who previously directed war comedies like Tere Bin Laden and its sequel Tere Bin Laden Dead or Alive. Now, it is a challenge for him to helm a serious war drama which is based on a true event. Sharma has also co-written the film along with the Saiwyn Quadros & Sanyuktha Chawla Shaikh, the writers of Sonam Kapoor starrer Neerja. The film also stars Boman Irani in a pivotal role.

John Abraham said in a statement, “The road to Pokhran has been paved. It’s time to embark on a journey to revisit the mission that changed the place of India on the world map & turning the course modern India’s position in the world as a strong nuclear state. Our film “Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran” will take the audience on a journey to showcase the greatest nuclear espionage the world witnessed in 1998. A mission where the Indian army, scientists, engineers & satellite experts came together to pull off the greatest covert mission of their times & made the country proud & declare itself as a Nuclear state.”

Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran is scheduled to release on December 8, 2017.
