Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is really having a tough time in finalizing the leading lady for his upcoming film, Gustaakhiyaan. According to reports, Parineeti Chopra was recently offered the female lead in the period drama after her cousin Priyanka Chopra bowed out of the project at the last moment. However, Parineeti also said no to the film due to unavailability of dates. The actress has reportedly allotted her dates to other projects and hence decided to not do the film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali .

A source close to the development reveals to a publication, “Pari doesn’t have dates and she was not keen to do the film as well. She is starting Dibakar’s (Banerjee) next in November. Then, she has a month to shoot for ‘ Kesari ’ with Akshay Kumar . Post that, she begins work on ‘ Namastey Canada ’ with Arjun Kapoor again. Bhansali wants her to begin filming the Sahir Ludhianvi biopic right after ‘ Padmavati ' releases.”

We must say that by turning down a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, Parineeti has missed out on a golden opportunity.
