The controversial former chief of CBFC, Pahlaj Nihalani is now looking forward to his upcoming productions. According to the reports in a leading daily, Pahlaj has two projects in his pipeline, one of which will reportedly be a sequel to his 1993 action-comedy ‘ Aankhen ’. The ‘ Julie 2 ’ producer now wants to work with the young lads of Bollywood. After the failure of his last film Julie 2 , he has expressed his wish to cast Ranveer Singh , Arjun Kapoor , Rajkummar Rao and many other young actors in his next.

Talking about his upcoming project, Nihalani said to a leading daily, ‘’Ranveer and Arjun are No 1 on my wish-list. I want them to play the leads in ‘Aankhan Chaar’. They have great chemistry. With each character playing a double role, we will see two Ranveers and two Arjuns, along with a chimpanzee." Nihalani has plans to showcase two pairs of twins in the outing, he further added, "Ranbir and Imran will also make an excellent combination”. He is also keen to cast Shahid and Ranbir, and Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao , as a double duo for his next.

His last release couldn’t do much at the box office, speaking about the film Nihalani said, ‘’ Julie 2 has taught me valuable lessons. I have learned the market trends."
