Shah Rukh Khan ’s Zero is one of the most ambitious projects of the actor’s career. He has earlier said that Zero will be the most advanced film which is being made on a high-end technology and extensive use of VFX. As it is a known fact that the film will have SRK, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in lead roles, it will also have a number of cameos. The movie will have Badshah Khan in a double role and he will be seen playing a diehard fan of Kaif. But reportedly, the actress will not be seen romancing Khan. That’s what we hear! If insiders are to be believed then Kaif, who will be playing a superstar, will be seen romancing Abhay Deol . A source close to the project revealed a leading daily that Abhay will also have a cameo in Zero and will play Kaif’s love interest.

About her role in the film, Katrina had said, “Initially, I was supposed to play myself in Zero. The film was titled Katrina Meri Jaan. There was a different cast on board and Shah Rukh sir wasn’t part of it. Now, it’s a satirical take on an actress.”

While Shah Rukh will be seen essaying the role of a vertically challenged man, Katrina and Anushka will also be playing interesting characters. A source had told a leading daily, “While everyone thinks that only Shah Rukh Khan has a special role in the film, they will be surprised to know that Anushka and Katrina's characters also face various challenges. While everyone knows Katrina plays a diva, nobody knows that she is also an alcoholic in the film. She battles with alcoholism, which affects her life in various ways. Anushka, on the other hand, plays a struggling scientist. The makers are trying to keep these details a secret because they don't want to give out too much information.”

Directed by Aanand L Rai , Zero is scheduled to release on 21st December 2018.
