Just moments ago, we informed about \'Madras Cafe\'s to be released with an U/A certificate in Tamil Nadu and that too without any cut. Reportedly, the makers of the film ensured the police protection to the theaters projecting the flick in Tamil Nadu.
However, now there is a \'\'breaking news\'\' coming all the way from south regarding the film. Even though, the Censor Board approved the screening in the southern region, many of the multiplexes and single screened theaters in Tamil Nadu didn\'t organize any screening of the flick. As Friday came out as a release day for fresh films, theaters in Tamil Nadu skipped allotting slots for \'Madras Cafe\'.
On the above incident, a senior member of Theater\'s Association reportedly said that the government as well as Censor Board didn\'t oppose the release in Tamil Nadu, the decision of screening the flick is totally upon the theater and multiplex owners. He further also added that the reason behind non-screening might be the fear to face a wrath from few protestors opposing the flick, as per the sources.
John Abraham, Nargis Fakhri starrer \'Madras Cafe\' is based on a real event regarding assassination of a great political leader. And thus, the screeners are not taking any risk, as there are thick chances of the situation to get flamed up if the film gets projected in the region.
