Director Neeraj Pandey, who debuted with the film \'A Wednesday!\', earlier intended to make a prequel to the film, which showed the background of those characters involved in the film, but now he has given up on it.
When he was asked about the status of the prequel in a recent interview, he said that he had dropped the plans as it didn\'t make any sense to stretch things just for the sake of it. His next film \'Special 26\' stars Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Manoj Bajpai in lead roles.
