Nimrat Kaur to essay lawyer in Azharuddin's biopic

The 2013 release 'The Lunchbox' garnered praises and the actress Nimrat Kaur's acting is remembered well by the audience. Her role in this film gained her acclaim all over the nation as well as overseas. Nimrat was also seen portraying an ISI agent in terrorism drama 'Homeland' that won Emmy award.

Going by the reports, Nimrat Kaur is all set to play a lawyer in the upcoming biopic based on the life of the cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin. Directed by Anthony D'Souza, Azaruddin's biopic stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead role, while Prachi Desai will play his first wife Naureen. The makers are still in search of the one, who can essay Sangeeta Bijlani's role.
