It's for the first time in India and may be first time ever in the world, that a special food menu has been designed to convey the food item and its prices to visually challenged people in restaurants. This latest invention was launched by actress Neha Dhupia at an event held in Mumbai.
The aim behind this invention is to help visually impaired people, as they don't have to wait for waiter to read out the menu to them. Instead, they can just pick it and press the button to hear the menu or else they can understand the menu just by touching the Braille letters inscribed on it.
During the media interaction, Neha addressed this initiative for the blind to make them feel equal and give them fair opportunities.
