    Neerja: First Look Poster Unveiled!

    Checkout the first look poster of the upcoming film 'Neerja' starring Sonam Kapoor.

    The biopic based on the life of 23-year old late air hostess Neera Bhanot, who lost her life while saving the lives of hijacked passengers on PanAm flight in Karachi in 1986, is all set to hit the theatres on February 19. Sonam Kapoor will play Neerja Bhanot in this film. The makers have released the first look poster of the film which is intense. The biopic has generated a lot of curiosity among the audience and there is eagerness to watch the film.

    The courageous Neerja posthumously received The Ashok Chakra, the highest civilian award for bravery. Neerja became the youngest recipient of this award. Pakistan also presented the esteemed Tamgha-e-Insaaniyat award to Neerja Bhanot for her heroism. Helmed by ad film director Ram Madhwani , the film is produced by Fox Star Studios and Bling Unplugged. The movie also features Shabana Azmi in the role of Neerja's mother.
