Neelima Azeem on ‘Beyond The Clouds’: I’m happy that Ishaan is part of such a special project.

Neelima Azeem is one proud mother. Her elder son Shahid Kapoor, who debuted with Ishq Vishq in 2003, has cemented his position as one of the most bankable stars in Bollywood over the years. And now, his younger son Ishaan Khattar is all set to make his acting debut with Beyond The Clouds, a film directed by the distinguished Iranian filmmaker, Majid Majidi. Azeem is currently in Goa. She had come to attend the Indian premiere of his son’s debut film which was screened at the 48th International Film Festival of India today.

Talking about the film, Azeem said, "Beyond The Clouds is an incredible film. Majid Majidi is a genius. Despite being an international filmmaker, he has been able to capture the spirit of India so realistically and beautifully. I am happy that Ishaan is part of such a special project."

Ishaan will soon start shooting for Karan Johar’s next venture Dhadak which marks the acting debut of Sridevi’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor. To be directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is a Hindi remake of hit Marathi film Sairat. It is expected to mount floors in December.
