Bollywood’s much in demand actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is on a roll! His last release Babumoshai Bandookbaaz with Bitita Bag was a hit and received rave reviews from the critics as well as the audience. The film has been declared as his first ever solo hit. Now, the actor will be seen in eminent filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj ’s next. The filmmaker’s last film Rangoon starring Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan could not impress the audience and proved to be a disappointment at the box-office. But, he will soon be back backing two lucrative projects.

Bhardwaj is set to launch Honey Trehan as a director with the film based on mafia queen Rahima Khan, starring Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan. Now, the director-producer is all set to back-up his assistant Aditya Nimbalkar for this new said project with Nawazuddin in the lead. The film is an untitled venture which is touted to be a comedy drama. The other cast of the film is yet to be finalized. The film is in its early stages of development and may go on floors in December.
