After ‘Padmavati’, Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is now on the radar of the communal groups of Rajasthan. The Valmiki community members protest the release of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ in the Kota and Jaipur cities of Rajasthan. The members of the community in the two cities raised slogans and tore the posters of the movie that released nationwide on Friday. The community and its members feel that during an episode of 'Bigg Boss', Salman had insulted the community by using pejoratives against lower castes during the show. And hence, they opposed the film to screen. While the film is released all over Rajasthan, we think Kota and Jaipur will have the regular shows from tomorrow onwards.
A still from Tiger Zinda HaiThough Salman’s grand film is facing trouble is some regions of Rajasthan, it surely is doing a mammoth business all across the nation. The movie opened to about 80% occupancy during the morning shows and same is going with the afternoon shows. And looking at the great response by the masses, the movie can surely pocket more than Rs. 30 crores on its opening day itself and will surely make its place in the prestigious Rs. 100 crore clubs within 3 days run at the box office.
