Now, all the speculation pertaining to Salman Khan 's next release can take rest. As there is high probability of Salman Khan 's home production titled ' Mental ' hitting the screens on January 24. ' Mental ' is said to be the remake of 'Stalin', a Telugu super hit flick of the year 2006.

The core group of the film ' Mental ' disclosed this release date wiping off all the rumors about its release date. Till now, almost all the movies of Sallubhai released at the time of Eid, but this time ' Mental ' is the first movie to be releasing on Republic Day weekend eve. The superstar is said to miss out Eid date owing to legal and health issues.

A source close to the unit told that when it was clear that Salman would be not be able to ready with the conventional Eid Friday, he appealed the director Sohail Khan to come up with the completion of shooting and Republic Day release of ' Mental '.

Sohail confirmed the news saying that the cast and crew is busy shooting for ' Mental ' on a continuous basis and the chances are high to release ' Mental ' on January 24.
