' Masaan ' starring Richa Chadda in key role will hit the theatre this Friday. The film depicts a small town in Uttar Pradesh along the banks of River Ganges. It's a tale of four lives and talks about a love story of young low caste boy, of a helpless father of a daughter who feels guilty about a sexual encounter. These tragic stories display dirty aspects of the society.

The film also showcases certain intimate scenes that are necessary of the script. ' Masaan ' revolves around the story of low caste boy and higher caste girl, who run away but didn't know what's store for them in future. The film speaks of other story of a girl called Devi, played by Richa Chadda , who falls in love with a student and gives nod to have sex with him at a shady lodge. Devi's father Pandit Vidyadhar gets blackmailed by the corrupt police inspector, as Vidyadhar is strong on morals and Devi's and his self-respect is important for him. It also shows the difficulties Devi face during her job hunt.

Stuffed with stellar performances, ' Masaan ' releases on July 24.
