Neeraj Pandey can undoubtedly be called the maestro filmmaker of the modern era. Using his unique style of filmmaking, he has given us gems like, ‘ A Wednesday ’, ‘ Baby ’, ‘ Special 26 ’ and many more. Pandey has shown his love for the nation and uniform officials by giving tribute to them via his films. And now, the ace filmmaker is coming up with his next film Aiyaary , which also revolves around some army officers. The director will be unveiling the first look of the film on Vijay Diwas i.e. 16th December. Vijay Diwas marks India’s victory over Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistan war in 1971. The film portrays Manoj Bajpayee as an army officer, who is shown sharing a mentor-protégé bond with Sidharth Malhotra .

Talking about the unveiling of the poster, the filmmaker said, "Vijay Diwas is a very significant day for the military troops of the country. It's a tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the victory of India in 1971. We thought what better day than this to release the poster of our film, Aiyaary. We dedicate it to our military troops and their brave families."

Pandey last helmed the blockbuster film, ‘ M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story ’, which was loved by the critics as well as the masses. He is coming back after a gap of around 2 years.

Presented by Reliance Entertainment and Plan C Studios, ‘ Aiyaary ’ is a Friday Filmworks Productions and is produced by Shital Bhatia, The film is directed by Neeraj Pandey and apart from Manoj and Sidharth, it also features Rakul Preet Singh , Anupam Kher , Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub , Kumud Mishra and Adil Hussain in the pivotal roles and is scheduled to release on 26th January 2018.
