    'Mardaani' to be first Yash Raj Films' venture with 'A' certificate

    Rani Mukherjee starrer 'Mardaani' will be the first Yash Raj Films outing with 'A' certificate. The film is all set to release on August 22.

    The upcoming much-talked about venture of Yash Raj Films , ' Mardaani ' stars Rani Mukherjee in never-seen-before feisty cop avatar as Shivani Shivaji Roy. The actress plays the Crime Branch officer in the film. The fresh news update about the film is ' Mardaani ' is the first YRF outing with 'A' certificate.

    ' Mardaani ' talks about the efforts of Police to solve a sex trafficking case. YRF head Aditya Chopra thought to get U/A certificate for this flick, as he intended that the children who are above the years of 12 years will watch this movie. According to the new guidelines, the Censor Board issued an 'A' certificate for ' Mardaani ', thereby making it the first YRF outing with 'A' certificate.

    Directed by Pradeep Sarkar , the film ' Mardaani ' hits the screens on August 22.
