' Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na ' fame, Manjari Phadnis , a Marathi girl from Pune, was till now delighting her fans by featuring as a contemporary girl, flaunting in western outfits. But this time, Manjari has experimented with her usual western-girl roles by portraying a typical Indian housewife in the forthcoming adult-comedy flick ' Grand Masti '. Throughout the film, she will be seen draped in saree, long mangalsutra and wide sindoor.

A source close to the production team narrated her look by saying that Manjari will be seen essaying the role of "pativrata" housewife in this film. Her role has been characterized as an ideal and dedicated housewife, who has the responsibility of everyone in the house.

In the comic-caper ' Grand Masti ', Manjari Phadnis will be seen opposite Aftab Shivdasani , as his wife. The film is directed by veteran director, Indra Kumar and is produced by Ashok Thakeria and also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi , along with the huge star cast of female-leads.
