Director Jay Prakash is very keen to cast Manisha Koirala for his film 'Market 2'. He wants to work with Manisha in 'Market 2' after she returns from New York. Manisha is currently undergoing a treatment for her ovarian cancer.

The director says that he considers Manisha Koirala as his lucky charm. She worked with him in ' Market ' and he earlier had discussed the script of 'Market 2' with her. According to him, Manisha had liked the script. The director says that he cannot imagine 'Market 2' without Manisha. So once she comes back after finishing with her treatment, he will again narrate the script to her.

The film 'Market' which was released in 2003 was about a woman who gets sold by her husband in a brothel. Manisha essayed the title role in the film. The 42 year old actress was undergone a surgery in the December last year in New York. She is currently getting a chemotherapy in New York. Manisha's manager Subroto Ghosh revealed that Manisha may return back in July.

The director expressed that Manisha is recovering well and he is regularly in touch with her manager. The duo worked together in the films like ' Chaahat Ek Nasha ' and 'Market'. Manisha has given a splendid performance in the films like ' Lajja ', '1942 A Love Story' ,' Dil Se ' , ' Bombay ' etc. Her last film was ' Bhoot Returns ' by Ram Gopal Varma .
