Abhishek Kapoor ’s ‘ Kedarnath ’ is in the talks ever since its announcement. The director announced the film and started its first schedule in August. Soon after completing the first schedule, the movie was put on a halt. After taking a break, Kapoor has finally begun the second schedule of the film. He officially announced the news on Instagram, where he uploaded a picture with its caption reading, “Great 2 have these 2 (Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan) back in the office again.. they seem to electrify the place every time they come in.. prep starts on 2 nd sched #kedarnath #kedarnaththemovie #jaibholenath #shambhoo #sushantsinghrajput #saraalikhan #init2winit."

The movie was put to a halt because of the unfavorable working conditions in the Kedarnath region, so the makers shifted their base to Mumbai. A source told a tabloid, "The makers felt that the sequence deserves a grander canvas. So, they have decided to recreate the town of Kedarnath in Mumbai. The set will be erected by February next year. Abhishek intends to wrap up the sequence by June. This has, in turn, pushed the release."

We all know ‘ Kedarnath ’ is a love story based on the 2013 Uttarakhand floods. It is believed that the makers are planning to rope in a VFX team from the west so that this natural disaster looks quite effective on the silver screen. The source stated, "Gallons of water will be used to create the flood effect. The sequence will be high on VFX."

In the past, Sushant and Abhishek have worked together in ‘Kai Po Che’, and the movie turned out to be a gem. We expect the same magic from the actor-director duo as it will also give a boost to Sara Ali Khan ’s career, who will be debuting with this movie.
