    Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming film is titled Main, Indu

    Madhur Bhandarkar will be arriving with female-centric movie titled Main, Indu, as per the news update.

    The 'realistic' filmmaker of Bollywood, Madhur Bhandarkar has garnered praises for his films like Page 3, Fashion, Calendar Girls and now, he is all set to come up with his next. Madhur Bhandarkar 's upcoming movie will be titled Main, Indu. No official announcement about this project has been made yet. But the reports stated that this flick will be strong female-oriented one set during the 21 months of the Emergency, hat is, between June 25 1975 to March 21, 1977.

    The protagonist Indu is not based on any real-life character, but it's a stammering female poet who rebels against the system. The buzz revealed that Bhandarkar met BJP Leader LK Advani, political writers such as Coomi Kapoor, Tavleen Singh and Kuldeep Nayyar as well as he met multiple communist people and victims of emergency as a part of the research for this project.
