The much-awaited biopic gained praises from one and all from the Censor Board of Film Certification. As per the report, a close source to the development revealed that "The Censor Board wouldn't touch a single shot. They said every moment in Dhoni's story is inspiring and motivational. The film clocks a solid 3 hours and 10 minutes of playing time,"

It's being said that the movie will have two unequal halves and after 2 hours and 40 minutes, the interval will be there that takes the audience to significant juncture in the biopic. The director Neeraj Pandey was anticipating a clean chit from the CBFC and he was glad after getting it.
