Actors like Tabu and Jimmy Sheirgill are one of the few stars of B-town who can mould themselves in any kind of roles. Both of them have done diverse roles in their more than 2 decade long careers and now, the two will feature in Luv Ranjan ’s upcoming urban comedy. The untitled film will be helmed by Akiv Ali and will mark the collaboration between Tabu & Jimmy after 22 long years. Jimmy made his debut in 1996 with critically acclaimed film, Maachis , wherein Tabu also had a pivotal role. And since then, the two never really got the chance to work together. The two talented actors were last in 2005’s film Silsilay but never shared the screen space.

A source informed a leading daily, “Strangely, Tabu and Jimmy’s path haven’t crossed during the last 22 years. The two actors are happy to work together again. In fact, Tabu even mentioned to people that it’s incredible to work with Jimmy after such a long time.”

Though the film will be headlined by Tabu and Ajay Devgn , Jimmy will have a significant role in it. “Ajay, Tabu and Jimmy are such good actors. It’s great that their dates matched and they could come together to star in this movie,” adds the source.
