Lata Mangeshkar to present Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar award to Ranveer Singh over Skype

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is presently in Paris shooting for Yash Raj Films' upcoming venture Befikre opposite Vaani Kapoor. Towards July end, Ranveer will return to Mumbai. We earlier reported about Lata Mangeshkar going to present the prestigious Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar award to Ranveer Singh. The further news update stated that Bajirao Mastani director Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be receiving this award on actor's behalf on April 24. Bhansali will also be honoured with Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar award.

The Melody Queen Lata Mangeshkar has always insisted on the recipient of the award being physically present to receive it, but she agreed to the digital presence of Ranveer. The actor will connect via Skype. The legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar stated "He is one of the youngest recipients of this prestigious award named after our father.
