    'Lakshmi' to be premiered at London Asian Film Festival 2014

    Nagesh Kukunoor's film 'Lakshmi' featuring Monali Thakur will be premiered at the London Asian Film Festival 2014.

    Nagesh Kukunoor 's recent release ' Lakshmi ' now has one more feather in its hat. As per the reports, ' Lakshmi ' will be reportedly premiered at the London Asian Film Festival 2014. The film will open the festival. The event is the celebration of independent South Asian arts and cinema.

    ' Lakshmi ' is the film that talks about a 14-year old kidnapped girl from Andhra Pradesh and it also narrates about child trafficking in the nation. It tells the real life story and also speaks about how the children are forced into prostitution. The filmmaker Kukunoor will go to London for the premiere of the film. The event will be held from June 1 to June 11, as per the reports.

    ' Lakshmi ' stars the singer turned actress Monali Thakur , Satish Kaushik and Ram Kapoor in significant roles.
