Ashwini Iyer Tiwari and team are gearing up for the release of their upcoming film Bareilly Ki Barfi . The movie is set at the background of a small town and stars Kriti Sanon , Rajkummar Rao and Ayushman Khurana . The film is a love triangle with a twist where Ayushman plays a printing press owner, Rajkummar essays, and author while Kriti is seen as a modern, free spirited girl. The makers have kept the audience hooked with interesting updates, now another poster has been dropped where the three leads are chilling like it’s no body’s business! Kriti’s character Bitti breaks the stereotypes of small town girls. The actress completely shatters her girl next door image in this one as she plays a brat. A small-town girl who smokes, drinks and is a break dancer who loves to watch English movies. Talking about the smoking aspect which is shown in the trailer, Kriti clarified that she has been an anti-smoker.

In a statement, she said, “I have always been anti-smoking. I never wanted to smoke. I did not like it even after doing it. But it was something that I had to do for the character. I didn’t want it to look fake, so I had to do it the right way. I could have opted just to do a mouth fag, but it wouldn’t have looked good on screen. When it comes to smokers, they can easily find out whether a person is actually smoking it or not. There are certain small nuances like how a person is holding a cigarette etc., that can also be spotted easily.”

The film Bareilly Ki Barfi has been scheduled to release on August 18, 2017. Check out the official trailer here:
