The noted filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar is soon arriving with his next film titled Indu Sarkar, which is said to be based on India's 21-month state of Emergency. BollywoodMDB earlier reported about Neil Nitin Mukesh playing the role of Sanjay Gandhi in this movie.
The further news update revealed that Kirti Kulhari, who is riding high on the success of her last release, Pink, will render the role of a girl with speech impediment in the film Indu Sarkar. Kirti spoke about this development at a recent event by saying, "Finally, something good is happening. I am doing Madhur Bhandarkar's Indu Sarkar. We are going to start shooting from December 10. The film will be completed by end of January. And then, I will be announcing two more projects."
Talking about her role in this outing, the actress stated, "Indu is raised in an orphanage and has a stammering problem but loves to write and read poetry. After Pink, I wanted to do something that would challenge me further as an actor. We want to create the same impact as Tabu's turn in Chandni Bar with my character."
