Kiran Rao to take pledge of organ donation

\'Ship Of Theseus\' by Anand Gandhi inspired the talented filmmaker Kiran Rao to take a pledge for the donation of her organs. There is a great merit in \'saving a life\', that\'s what Rao thinks.

At a press conference for the the promotion of film \'Ship Of Theseus\', Kiran Rao got candid with the media saying that earlier she had thought about organ donation. However, this movie made her deeply think about the noble cause. Only eyes can be donated by us, was the earlier perception of Kiran Rao. But, this film enhanced her knowledge depicting that every organ of human body can be donated to save someone\'s life, stated the filmmaker.

The brilliant lady further added that she will be taking pledge about organ donation in this week along with all the others, with the same intention. There is an immense pleasure in understanding that donating the organs can endow beautiful thing called life to someone and you get to know that a life is continuing even after you, explained Rao.

Kiran Rao will be presenting the film \'Ship Of Theseus\'. The movie has already traveled across many film festivals all over the world.

Five metro cities - Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Kolkata and Bangaluru will see \'Ship Of Theseus\' sailing on big screen on July 19.
