One can't discuss enough the importance of music in Bollywood films, as it not only used to add entertainment value to it but can also help narration to move forward. Just a day before its big release in theatres, team Jagga Jasoos released a new song titled, Khana Khake, quirky as the film is, it is a completely justifies musical element of Bollywood. Director Anurag Basu did carry forward his weird, idiosyncratic chemistry back to Jagga Jasoos and that energy clearly shows in this song!

Most of the song is recorded with the chorus, which gives it a Broadway feel yet keeping its fun feel, mostly repeating “Sab Khana Khake, Daaru Pike Chale Gaye.” The song also highlights a back story of Shruti ( Katrina Kaif ) who is ignored by her love, who’s birthday she was celebrating and idiotically didn’t show up at all. And to cheer up, happy on the face but saddened in the heart Shruti, Jagga ( Ranbir Kapoor ) come up with his piece of chorus song, sung in stuttering pitch but the completely made point with his philosophy on life! The song was perfectly penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and he also has sung the part along with chorus members like Pritam, Amitabh Bhattacharya, Tushar, Geet Sagar, June, Antara, Amit, Ashwin, Aroh, Sunny. And Katrina looks so adorable playing air Saxophone!

Jagga Jasoos will be released in theatres on 14th July and it also includes castings of Sayani Gupta, Saswata Chatterjee, Saurabh Shukla , Adah Sharma , Denzil Smith, Brijendra Kala, Karan Wahi, Mir Sarwar and Bijou Thaangjam. It is indeed one of a kind Bollywood’s musical!
