Katrina Kaif to play Mastani in 'Bajirao Mastani'

We earlier reported about Ranveer Singh playing the role of Bajirao in the forthcoming ambitious project of Sanjay Leela Bhansali 'Bajirao Mastani' and now, the filmmaker Bhansali seems to have found the female lead of his film.

Reportedly, the diva Katrina Kaif will play the female lead as Mastani in 'Bajirao Mastani'. Prior to this, Bhansali was planning to cast Deepika Padukone for this role, however the date issues could not make it possible and Katrina bagged the role. The desi-girl Priyanka Chopra will also be seen in 'Bajirao Mastani' in a pertinent role called Kashibai, who was Bajirao's first wife.

Well, with such an iconic star cast, Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani' is sure to grab the eyeballs!
