Katrina Kaif to feature in Aankhen sequel

Anees Bazmee's 2002 heisty thriller Aankhen featured Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen. The movie achieved stellar success at the box-office and was loved by the audience due to its gripping storyline. The film is soon arriving with its next installment and it's likely to star Amitabh Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and other two A-listers.

The reports stated that Katrina Kaif will be playing the leading lady of Aankhen sequel. A source revealed "Scripting of the sequel has been completed. Like in the original, where Sushmita Sen plans the bank robbery, the sequel too has a woman as the mastermind,"

"Paperwork is still to be completed but an announcement will be made soon. Katrina is also on the verge of signing two other big banner films which will roll this year. She is currently working out her dates for all the three projects," added the source.

Katrina Kaif is presently shooting for Jagga Jasoos opposite Ranbir Kapoor and time-travel adventure Baar Baar Dekho alongside Siddharth Malhotra.
