Actress Katrina Kaif made her debut in Bollywood back in 2003 with a controversial film, Boom. Though the movie tanked at the box office, Katrina managed to make herself a successful name in the showbiz. Despite being an outsider, her movie choices made her a superstar she today is. We hardly see an outsider ruling our cinema but Indian masses accepted her open heartedly and her journey is truly commendable. The Barbie Doll of Bollywood was recently at an event where she gave a hint that she might soon write a memoir on her journey to stardom. Well, as per reports in a leading daily, this may come true soon as Katrina has given her nod to a publication house for her memoir.
Katrina KaifA source told a daily, “When Katrina was approached initially; she felt it was too soon to write an autobiography. After much convincing, she has agreed to come on board.” The book is tentatively titled Barbie Dreams, as Katrina is the only Indian actor to have a Barbie doll modelled on her.
The source adds, “Despite starting with a controversial film like Boom (2003), she will decode how she bagged projects wisely to ensure a long inning in Bollywood. The story is pitched as a motivational one and anything about her personal life doesn’t fit into the template"
Reportedly, the memoir will focus only on her journey in showbiz and beyond. It will not disclose anything about her personal life.
