As we had earlier reported that John Abraham walked out of a film titled Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga due to some creative differences with the team and that the makers were looking for his suitable replacement. Finally, their search has ended on actor Kartik Aaryan . The actor, who rose to fame with Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, will play the lead in the movie which is a thriller based on a diamond heist.

To be produced by Raj Kumar Gupta , Chor Nikal Kar Bhaga will be helmed by debutant Amar Kaushik who has previously assisted Raj Kumar Gupta on films like No One Killed Jessica and Ghanchakkar. The team will start the shooting of the film by the end of the year. Currently, the makers are looking for a female lead opposite the actor.

Meanwhile, Kartik is now gearing up for the release of his next film titled Guest Iin London, which is slated to release on 7th July. Directed by Ashwini Dhir, the film also stars Kirti Kharbanda , Paresh Rawal and Tanvi Azmi .
