Apparently, Kartik Aaryan sidelined the role due to work commitments for an upcoming film with Luv Ranjan and post that he couldn’t make out a time to devote for the Gustakhiyan. As for Gustakhiyan, it is a real-life love story based on the life of legendary saints Sahir Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam, who fell in love despite being committed to their life partners. Indeed, a love triangle, but we trust Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s perception, it would be poetic and colorful rendition of the story.
