Ever since the announcement of the chick flick Veere Di Wedding was made, it has always been in news. Rumours have been rife that actress Kareena Kapoor Khan will drop out of the project due to her pregnancy. Later, Kareena cleared the air and stated that she is very much on board. Latest update states that, Kareena will shoot major portions of the film post delivery.

In a recent media interaction, Sonam Kapoor , who is an integral part of the film, said, “Nobody from the newspaper has contacted us nor they are picking up the phone for clarification. Honestly, this is just a gossip. We are about to start shooting of certain portions of the film. However, most of the film will be shot in April post-delivery. It’s completely untrue and irresponsible way of writing news. I didn’t expect that.”

Sonam further added that, “I think in general this has been a patriarchal society, we have a lot of uneven ground for actresses, sportswomen. The women in our society go through obstacles as they are judged the way they look or speak or whether they are pregnant. We are not looked at as strong and capable people. I think it’s very very unfair and hope things are going to get better.”
