    Kareena Essays A Mature Role In 'Udta Punjab'

    Actress Kareena Kapoor stated that her role in 'Udta Punjab' is more mature, somber and edgy than that of what she played in 'Jab We Met'.

    Actress Kareena Kapoor 's presence in the upcoming film ' Udta Punjab ' has been a lot in news and is often seen compared to her character from ' Jab We Met ' where she played the role of a Sikhni. But according to a leading daily, the actor's role is nothing close to the character Geet from JWM. In ' Udta Punjab ' Kareena plays a mature, somber and edgy role.

    Some parts of the Abhishek Chaubey 's next will be shot in Amritsar while Kareena plays a Sikhni. The reports claim that she took Punjabi lessons from a Delhi Professor as she had to converse a lot in the language in the movie.

    The film ' Udta Punjab ' also features Alia Bhatt , Shahid Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh . It is touted to be a narrative that contains four different tales.
