Veteran director Karan Johar who recently directed a blockbuster named ' Student Of The Year ' is considered as one of the most successful directors in the b-town. He is also famous for choosing lavish and beautiful foreign locations for his films. But recently he has decided to go for the real locations for the shoot of his next flick ' Bombay Talkies '.

The film features a love story starring Karan's favorite Rani Mukherjee and muscle man Randeep Hooda . It also has Saqib Siddique ( Mere Dad Ki Maruti fame) in a key role. The film will get to shoot on the streets of Mumbai and in the real locations as the story demands a realistic background.

Karan Johar will direct his pet darling Rani Mukherjee after a long time. And Randeep Hooda will work for Karan for the first time. The film Bombay Talkies is a feature film which will be released on 3rd May, the landmark date in the Indian film industry. This 3rd May we will complete 100 golden years of the Indian cinema. The four talented directors Karan Johar , Zoya Akhtar , Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee dedicate this film to the Indian cinema.
