    Karan Johar joins 'Shaandar' team on Alia Bhatt's insistence

    Karan Johar agreed to be the part of India's first destination wedding film 'Shaandar' on Alia Bhatt's insistence.

    Karan Johar is Alia Bhatt 's mentor in real life and seeing their bond director Vikas Bahl approached him to play her father on reel in the upcoming film ' Shaandaar '. However, the filmmaker turned actor rejected his offer citing the reason that he wants to maintain the exclusivity of his acting debut with ' Bombay Velvet '. Even then, he is very much part of the ' Shaandaar ' project.

    Reportedly, Karan has agreed to play a cameo on Alia's insistence and has joined the ' Shaandaar ' team in London on their second schedule.

    Even if it's a cameo, we are sure Karan will add his own charisma to the character to support the destination wedding film of his favourite girl- Alia.
