A lot has been written about the upcoming venture, there were also rumours that the film has been shelved after it getting delayed for long. But, the producer rubbished all these rumours and stated that the film is very much on track.

In an exclusive interaction with a leading daily, Johar stated that, I really don't know where all these rumours came from. The film is very much on track, and we are starting it in the middle of January with a non-stop schedule. All of us are very excited to make that movie." He also said that he is very excited to work with SRK, and the casting of the film is very unusual therefore there are many speculations about it.
