Following the lead of ‘ Bombay Talkies ’, ‘ Bombay Talkies 2 ’ will also have four quartets, helmed by the same 4 directors who directed its predecessor. Apart from Karan, BT2 also has Anurag Kashyap , Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee in the list of other directors. Talking about the film, a source close to Karan earlier revealed to a leading newspaper, “Like the rest, Karan’s film too deals with the themes of love and lust. While the other filmmakers, who were also a part of Bombay Talkies, have already completed their respective movies, Karan is the last one to shoot. His film goes on the floors in the first week of December and will be filmed in Mumbai.”

The film deals with the theme of love and lust and it will be a first out and out comedy coming from Karan Johar . Karan has signed two young actors, Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani for the first time in his film. The short film will also have Neha Dhupia in a pivotal role.
