After playing with family drama and love stories, now the veteran director Karan Johar wants to make a biopic on legendary actor-filmmaker late Guru Dutt . Karan said that, he is really excited about making a biopic. Karan expressed that , the biopic should be on the person who interests him.

Karan feels that it is challenging to put one's life on the silver screen and for this, the personality on which the biopic is made is as much as necessary to be enigmatic. Karan expressed that since he is a great fan of the legendary actor-filmmaker late Guru Dutt , he would love to make a biopic of his idol's life.

Karan further said that he would put the years of his life to make a biopic on Guru Dutt 's life. He is Karan's favorite director. Karan feels that no other director can showcase the love and romance on the silver screen like the way Guru Dutt showed to the audience. Karan expressed that, every time he listens to Guru Dutt 's mesmerizing songs, he feels 'kuchh kuchh hota hai' in his heart.
